This new aluminium headed hammers and dollies set from Power-TEC (part number: 92430) is designed for professional alloy body repairs. With cross contamination being the major concern, most OE bodyshop certification programmes require rigorous separation of tools and equipment for alloy panel repairs and these repairs must be carried out in a completely separate, dedicated area. Although traditionally tools for working with aluminium are generally similar to those used for working with steel, increasingly specialist aluminium tools are being developed to further enhance protection against cross contamination and the resulting potential bimetallic corrosion problems.

The hammers are beautifully balanced and professional quality, fitted with hickory handles. There are three hammer profiles: bumping, cross pein and finishing, and pick and finishing. There are four solid aluminium dollies included: angled, heel, thin toe, and double ended, and the set is supplied in a quality moulded case to keep the tools clean and in good condition.
